Welcome At TODAY'S KIDS we want every child to know that they are a S.T.A.R.S. for Jesus.
Because each child is a gift from the Lord we are blessed to have this ministry develop at First Evangelical Church of Arcadia. We are trying to develop:
A Place of Love: We demonstrate love through real and active care for each child and give them the desire to realize the life God intended for the world. a. through the Bible, the Word of God b. through the loving care of caregivers, teachers and helpers in classrooms A Discovery of Faith: We help children realize that no matter where we currently stand in relation to God, there is always more to learn, more to experience, and more to enjoy about Him. And through that discovery, we hope the children will express it through their daily lives at home and school and with friends.
Adopting our Church's Mission Statement: First Evangelical Church, Arcadia exist to introduce people to Christ and grow them in worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism.
So therefore our Children's Ministry exists to teach the five purposes by:
Show children the way to receive Jesus into their hearts. Team them together with other children and learn to Apply the Bible into their hearts. Helping them to Rejoice the Lord each and everyday of their lives and to Serve others with their spiritual gifts.
That is where we get our S.T.A.R.S. for Jesus.
