Our Pupose
We want to develop values into the hearts of children so that they will have a true connection with our Lord Jesus Christ. Those 5 Purposes which we would implement in our story time and our activities each and every time we have a chance to connect to with your child.
Show children the way to receive Jesus into their hearts. Team them together with other children and learn to Apply the Bible into their hearts. Helping them to Rejoice the Lord each and everyday of their lives and to Serve others with their spiritual gifts.
SHOW:
Through that social awareness we become more mission minded and we
desire to learn more about the world and what God is doing around the
world through different leaders and programs that help people. We in
Children's Ministry would like to teach this by:
a.
teaching the children to catch God’s heart for the nations (missions
and evangelism), His loving care for the poor and oppressed
(social concern)
Throughout
His ministry, Jesus Christ sought justice and mercy for the outcast and
oppressed (socially, economically, ethnically, etc.) and we are called
to no less.
God says we were made for Mission, Colossians 4:5 "Be wise in the way
you act towards outsiders; make the most of every opportunity."
TEAM: Kids will learn to be real with our struggles and hurts—to God and one another—because we know we’re not perfect. Because it says in Romans 12:5 "So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
APPLY: What we learn in the Bible, it's mysteries and to discover God’s plan for us as we grow year to year in our walk of faith. We find that God is more than just a being, but He is our Lord and our Savior in the most loving way.
a. to discover what God has gifted them, their passions and what God has called them to do.
b. to develop their faith and walk with the Lord and to understand the Bible and all it's teaching.
For God says in the Bible Philippians 2:5 "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus."
REJOICE:
Kids will learn to be real with our worship to God. And to really
worship to the Lord with all our hearts, and with all our souls and
with all our minds and with all our strength. For God says
Mark 12:30 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."
SERVE: We want to teach the children to pursue the Bible’s call to be compassionate, and have a understanding between people of different ethnicities, and socio-economic positions. We seek to become a people for whom love and grace is our aim. Teaching the children to be socially aware, helps them to grow in the heart for ministry. They will learn to serve one another and to serve their friends and families understanding that it is a call from the Lord for us to do. For God says in the Bible I Peter 4:10 "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others."
